LuxuryApartmentNYC.com and The Anthem NYC are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
LuxuryApartmentNYC.com is designed to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. As of June 2026, our latest mobile Lighthouse audit reports an accessibility score of 100/100.
What We Do
- Semantic HTML — proper landmark roles, headings, and ARIA labels for screen readers
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are operable with keyboard alone
- Color contrast — text meets or exceeds the WCAG AA 4.5:1 contrast ratio on every page
- Alternative text — meaningful alt text for images and descriptive titles for embedded videos and 3D tours
- Form labels — every form field has an explicit or screen-reader-only label
- Focus indicators — visible focus state for keyboard users
- Reduced motion — animations respect the `prefers-reduced-motion` system setting
- Responsive design — content reflows cleanly at 320px width and up
Compatibility
The site is designed to be compatible with:
- Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile
- Screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (iOS / macOS), and TalkBack (Android)
- Screen magnification and zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
Known Limitations
Some embedded third-party content (YouTube videos, Matterport 3D tours, Leaflet maps, Cal.com booking widgets) is hosted by third parties and operates under those providers' own accessibility implementations. We have selected providers that offer strong accessibility support, but we cannot directly control their conformance level.
